Best Banks in Namibia

Bank Windhoek, Standard Bank Namibia, and First National Bank of Namibia are amongst the best banks in Namibia:

Bank Windhoek has been honored as the Best Bank in Namibia by emeafinance during an award ceremony which was hosted in London in December 2010. It also received recognition from the Professional Management Review in February 2010 by being awarded five awards including: The Best Rated Bank, for Good Corporate Citizenship; Investment Services; Property Valuers and Promoting Arts and Culture. Bank Windhoek was the second largest bank in Namibia with total assets of N$14 billion as at 30 June 2010 and delivered a profit of N$247.4 million, 18% over the previous year.

Standard Bank Namibia is one of the top leading banks in the country. For the third year in a row it won the “Best Bank in Namibia” award in Euromoney's Awards for Excellence. It also received the “Best Bank” award by The Banker in 2006. Other accolades included: gold in the bank category of Professional Management Review's (PMR) annual survey in Namibia for its contribution to the economic growth of the country.

First National Bank (FNB) of Namibia provides a full range of banking services to customers. FNB received the prestigious Bracken Award as the best bank in Namibia at the Bank of the Year Awards in association with UK Trade and Investment.
