Petrobras was the winner of the Best-Managed Companies in Latin America ranking which was published by London-based Euromoney magazine. According to the magazine, the Company is the best in the Most Useful and Informative Website and Best Managed Company in the Oil and Gas Sector categories as well. Published in the March 2010 issue of the magazine, the annual ranking of the Best-Managed Companies in Latin America is one of the most distinguished awards given to companies on the continent.
Petrobras is an energy company in the following sectors: exploration and production, refining, oil and natural gas trade and transportation, petrochemicals, and derivatives, electric energy, biofuel and other renewable energy source distribution.
TOTVS S.A. is also one of the best managed companies and is the largest ERP company located in emerging countries.
