Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. Nomura was the largest and wealthiest securities firm in the world in 1989.

Credit Suisse First Boston (CFSB) - According to the April 2005 issue of Institutional Investor magazine, Credit Suisse First Boston was the 4th largest securities firm in terms of total capital. CSFB is a leading global investment bank serving institutional, corporate, government and individual clients. Its businesses include securities underwriting, sales and trading, investment banking, private equity, financial advisory services, investment research, venture capital, correspondent brokerage services and asset management.
