The top largest banks in Ukraine include Prominvestbank, Raiffeisen Bank Aval, UniCredit Bank, Alfa-Bank Ukraine, Kreditprombank, among others.

Prominvestbank is one of the largest and reliable Ukrainian economy creditors. It was founded in 1992. From the moment of its foundation Prominvestbank is among the group of the largest Ukrainian banks. In 2001 the Bank was ranked among the Top 1000 World Banks. It was also awarded by "The Banker" (Financial Times) English magazine "The Bank of the Year for Ukraine" in 2003, 2004 and 2006.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval is recognised as an authorised bank of the Ukrainian Pension Fund for paying out pensions and financial aid in all regions of Ukraine. The Bank received the highest ranking within the framework of the regular image survey of the largest Ukrainian banks carried out by GfK Ukraine in September 2010. The general reputation ranking of Raiffeisen Bank Aval was 3.95 scores (according to the survey scale from 1 to 5).

UniCredit Bank was founded in Lutsk in 1997 as Pekao Bank (Ukraine) and was a member of Pekao Group S.A, which was controlled by UniCredit Group. According to the annual rating of “Ekonomichna Pravda” conducting among 25 largest banks in Ukraine, UniCredit Bank is ranked 3rd as the most reliable bank out of 25 largest banks in Ukraine.

Alfa-Bank Ukraine, registered in Ukraine in January 2001, is a leading privately owned bank ranking among the top 10 largest banks in Ukraine. The Bank has been assigned rating by international rating agency Standard & Poor's.

Kreditprombank was named among five leaders of the rating "TOP 100. Ukrainian Business Leaders – 10 years of development". The Bank provides a full range of financial services for its customers, the corporate and retail clients, representatives of small and medium business. Kreditprombank has entered the top 5 of the Ukrainian financial institutions for increase of term deposits of individuals.
