Top 10 Biggest Wealth Creators

According to the Motilal Oswal ‘Wealth Creation Study 2005-10′, Reliance Industries (RIL) is the biggest wealth creator, followed by ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) and NMDC, for the period of five years from 2005 to 2010. RIL share price has grown at a compounded annual rate of 37.1 per cent over the past five years. Indian top 100 wealth creating companies created over Rs 26,000 billion of wealth in the past 5 years. Wealth creation is the process by which a company enhances the market value of the capital entrusted to it by its shareholders.

For the past seven years, the biggest wealth creator in India are from the Oil & Gas sector, with ONGC led the first three years and Reliance led the next four years.
