Stock Brokers in Sweden

Some of the leading stock brokers in Sweden are Nordnet (one of the first brokers in the Nordic region to offer online trading), Avanza Bank (the largest online stock broker in the Nordic countries with the largest number of deals on the Stockholm Stock Exchange), to name a few.

Nordnet was founded in Sweden in 1996, and has been a leader of the modern brokerage and banking services. It offers the broadest range of services, from savings in stocks and mutual funds to banking products. In 2009, Nordnet was named Sweden’s best banking site in a prestigious ranking by the magazine Internetworld.

Avanza Bank is the largest online broker in Sweden. The company is the result of a number of different mergers of the companies Avanza, Aktiespar Fondkommission, HQ.SE Fondkommission and Inside. In November 2003, Avanza launched Sweden's first fully Internet-based pension savings (IPS), trading in both shares and funds. In December 2005, the company obtained a licence to conduct banking activities. In the Swedish media, Avanza got a lot of attention for having "the most satisfied customers out of all the Swedish banks".
