Most Admired Companies in Asia

Haier, one of world's biggest manufacturers of home appliances, is among the top 14 Most Admired Companies in Asia according to an online survey conducted by BusinessWeek.com. Some of the other companies featured in the list include Toyota, Infosys, Wipro and Lenovo. Haier has also been ranked 25th in a report on Forbes.com on the world's most respected companies.

Bayer is the second most admired company in its sector in Asia. This was the outcome of an online survey of economic experts and readers of the business press published in The Wall Street Journal Asia. Bayer was ranked No. 2 among pharmaceutical companies after Johnson & Johnson. It took 48th place among multinationals operating in Asia, this ranking being led by Apple, Google and Microsoft.

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. and one of the world's largest express transportation company, has been named amongst the Top 20 in the 200 Most Admired Companies in Asia published by The Wall Street Journal Asia. The survey lists the top 200 multinationals operating in Asia along with Asia-headquartered corporations, based on five attributes including: company reputation, quality of products and services, management's long-term vision, innovation, and financial soundness.
