Fastest Growing Banks in Kenya

Chase Bank has been named for the second year running, The Fastest Growing Bank in Kenya. At the 2010 annual Banking Awards, Chase Bank scooped an additional prize for the second Runner up position in the Best Bank in Customer Satisfaction category. The Bank was also awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification to ensure that its operational processes are standardised across the board, ensuring a memorable customer experience.

Equity bank was named the bank of the year at the 2009 Banking Awards ceremony. The annual awards were launched in 2006 by Think Business Limited. Equity was also named the best bank in micro finance, best bank in technology use, third best bank in retail banking and among the fastest growing banks in the country, five awards in total.

Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) is one of the fastest growing banks in Kenya, targeting the Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and retail sectors. The bank offers numerous credit facilities like overdrafts, bills discounting, term loans and insurance premium finance. On the side of deposits, the bank offers local and foreign currency denominated savings accounts and current accounts, children’s accounts, fixed deposit accounts, Internet banking, Visa card services, and so on.

Family Bank (formerly Family Finance Building Society) has been rated as one of the fastest growing Banks in Kenya. The Bank is regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) and is regularly inspected using CAMEL ratings which look at Capital, Assets, Management, Earnings and Liquidity. Since its inception, the Bank has been providing affordable financial services to the low and medium income earners.
