Best Banks in Serbia

Raiffeisen Banka, Banca Intesa, and Komercijalna Banka are amongst the best banks in Serbia:

Raiffeisen Banka has been awarded the title “Best Bank in Serbia in 2009” by Global Finance Magazine. This is the seventh time in a row that the bank operating in Serbia is awarded with this title. Moreover, the esteemed British financial magazine Euromoney awarded the title "Best Bank in Serbia 2008" to Raiffeisen banka on its annual "Award for Excellence" reception. Additionally, Raiffeisen Zentralbank Osterreich AG (RZB) together with its CEE subsidiary Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding AG received the "Best Bank in Central and Eastern Europe" (CEE) award, marking the fifth year in a row that it has won the publication's prestigious regional award.

Banca Intesa is one of the first private banks in Serbia. In 2007, it became the leading bank in Serbia on all of the most significant parameters of successful business operation. Euromoney granted the “Award for Excellence“ to it as the best bank in Serbia in 2010. The Banker (an issue of the famous publishing house Financial Times Group) also declared it the bank of the year in Serbia in 2009.

Komercijalna Banka was named the best in Serbia in a survey done by the Global Finance magazine. The best banks were chosen according to the following criteria: understanding the clients' needs, growth in assets, profitability, strategic relationships, customer service, staff competence, competitive pricing, use of technology and innovative products. In 2010, Komercijalna Banka celebrated 40th anniversary of successful business operations in the Republic of Serbia and in the region.
