Ceska Sporitelna, Ceskoslovenska obchodni banka a. s., Komercni banka, and HVB Bank are the top largest banks in Czech Republic.

Ceska Sporitelna is a subsidiary of Erste Group and is the largest bank in Czech Republic. Ceska Sporitelna has been awarded the Bank of the Year title in Fincentrum's Bank of the Year 2010 competition, and was voted as Most Trusted Bank for the seventh time in a row and also won in the new Bank Without Barriers category.

Ceskoslovenska obchodni banka, a. s. (SCOB) is a universal bank operating in the Czech Republic. Its main business profile comprises the segments of: retail (individuals), SMEs, corporate and non-banking financial institutions, financial markets and private banking. According to the Global Finance magazine, CSOB is the best provider of financial services for international trade (BEST TRADE FINANCE PROVIDER AWARD 2008). Additionally, it is the holder of several other Global Finance magazine awards: In the category Best Bank for currency operations in the Czech Republic (2003-2008), Best Bank in the CR for 2007 and in the category Best Sub-Custodian in the Czech Republic (2005 and 2006).

Komercni banka is one of the largest universal banks in the Czech Republic, providing a broad range of services in retail, corporate and investment banking. Komercní banka, a.s. is the parent company of KB Group and is also a member of the Societe Generale Group.

HVB Bank Czech Republic is the fourth largest bank in Czech Republic. The Bank created a profit after tax of CZK 862 million in H1 2005 in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) applied by the HVB Group. HVB Bank is a subsidiary of Austrian Bank Austria Creditanstalt (BA-CA) that is within HVB Group responsible for the administration of CEE market.
