Zagrebacka banka is a leading Croatian bank with high quality products and services and good business results. According to Croatian citizens, Zagrebacka banka is the best bank in Croatia when it comes to value for money. In a special research based on the "Best Buy Award – DEEPMA" method which was carried out by the Market Research Center GfK Croatia, Zagrebacka banka was ranked No. 1 in the “E-banking” category, followed by PBZ and Erste, and in the “Mobile Financial Services” category, followed by the same two banks in the same order.

Erste&Steiermärkische Bank d.d. is part of the Erste Group Bank which is the leading financial provider in the Eastern Europe. At the official presentation ceremony for the Croatian Chamber of Commerce awards for the most successful Croatian companies in 2010, which was held at the National and University Library in Zagreb (February 28, 2011), Erste&Steiermärkische Bank d.d. was named the best bank in Croatia in 2010. It also won the same award for the most successful bank in Croatia in 2005, 2006 and 2008.

Raiffeisenbank Austria d.d. Zagreb (RBA) was the first bank in Croatia which has been established by a foreign financial institution. Its Croatian subsidiary's branches and outlets are present in many towns including Bjelovar, Cakovec, Dubrovnik, Dakovo, Ivanic Grad, Jastrebarsko, Karlovac, Koprivnica, Kutina, Ludbreg, Makarska, Metkovic, Osijek, Porec, Pozega, and so on.

Raiffeisenbank Austria d.d. is the fourth-largest bank in Croatia, with a balance-sheet total of €5.6 billion as at 30 September 2008. The Banker recognized the bank's performance with a Bank of the Year award in 2006.
