Montenegro Stock Exchange

The Montenegro Stock Exchange (MNSE) is located in Podgorica, Montenegro. It was established in June 1993, in base of Law on Money and Capital Market.

The Exchange has received founding licence from Federal Ministry of Finance, licence for trading with short term securities from Yugoslav Central Bank and licence for trading with long term securities from Federal Securities Commission. Since September 2006 the Exchange becomes an entirely privately owned company, which means that the Government of Montenegro sold its stake from 5% in Montenegro Stock Exchange by the auction sale on the stock market.

World Federation of exchanges (WFE) has accepted the recommendations of the Board of directors of the federation and promote Montenegro Stock Exchange as a new member of this association of exchanges.

MSETS webMonitoring is a new service from the Montenegro Stock Exchange and its primary goal is to give investors the opportunity to monitor trading activities via internet. This service is available for all interested parties, investors in first place, foreign as well as domestic.
